Pojam "lijeka" u bizantskoj tradiciji: filozofsko-teološki aspekti
Abstract
Pitanje odnosa bioetike i teologije dio je dugog i pregnantnog odnosa zapadnoeuropskog antropološkog
diskursa. Teološka relevantnost bit će u samoj osnovi problema i pitanja "života".
Kako to čovjek jest tijelo s dušom i što u tom odnosu znači disharmonija ili bolest. Karakter
"farmakona" (lijeka) u homerskoj tradiciji, na koju upućuje prvo spominjanje ove riječi, otvorit
će jednu ambivalentnost lijeka kao otrova i lijeka kao terapeutskog sredstva koja neće biti
lišena kršćanskih obilježja. Bolest i liječenje postaju stupovi bivstvujućeg u odnosu na prirodu
i osobnost i na njihov antitetički odmak. Teologija bolesti bit će tako uvjetovana teologijom
osobnosti kod Bizantskih Otaca.
